I was messing around on newegg, when I saw something interesting. http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=32-128-118&depa=0 ETA, is for 11/2/2004. Not sure if this is offical, but newegg as continuely been fairly accurate with its ETA dates. HL2 may not be the best game out this year imo, however the amount of mods people will make is always enticing.

I would go with amazon first few days of November I think this is long over due. I think they might put it live on steam before they release it on cd, just a feeling I have
