There's a few things that make me really suspicious of this so called review and claimed "Real benchmarks": -Gpuz shows it to be PCI-E 2, not PCI-E 3??? -still only 256bit memory bus width -"680" has been overclocked substancially but 7970 is run at stock -He's using LN2 to overclock to 5ghz, with is easily done on water and I've seen done with a good air cooler. I don't think it's a 680 at all. I'm not sure if this is how gpuz works, but if it gets it's information from the cards bios, could someone re-write the bios to dupe gpuz into displaying whatever information you want it to? I'm going to totally disregard anything this claims and wait till the official reviews from real reviewers.
This happens every time, some stupid benchmark comes up before the card is released, and people fool for it. 99.9% it is wrong, don't bother making a thread about it. Just be patient and wait for goodness sake. Its out when its out. /Rant
The default clock for 680 is 1000mhz approx isnt it. GPUz shows a lower default clock but all of the info coming from various websites so far states 1000mhz+ for the core clock. The PCIe shows 2.0 because the CPU isn't ivy bridge.
with all the marketing nvidia does.. =] same thing happened to ati when the 8800 g80 was released, a bunch of hype and waiting.. for wood screws
680 has 706 default clock or sumit wierd but uses similar technology to intel turbo boost but it scales upwards depending on usage is what most reviews I've seen are saying. So it's not overclocked at all, it's like saying because sandybridge can turbo to 3.9ghz all AMD procs should be overclocked as far
I'd just like to point out that if you're going for a performance build, and this costs around the same area as a 7970 while performing a little bit better (according to the crap review which is crap) and running cooler, I don't see why you would choose the 7970 over this. Plus, we still don't have SLI scalability tests. I think that will also play a major factor.

well nvidia have been more efficient with their memory of late, so that;s understandable well the potential and reality of the clocks are yet to be seen. i won't deny that i'm a complete nvidia fanboy, but they're renowned for underselling the clocks to make them tremendous overclockers. exactly my point as above. r4e has 5 pci-e 3 ports and i'm sure ive seen gpuz screen shots showing pci-e 3.
Ha!!! Debunked! GPU-Z can read PCI-E 3.0 with that motherboard and chip.... and it's the same version of GPU-Z as well. http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/showthread.php?t=162427 So let's all stop bitching now. Fake benchmark is fake. Let's wait for the real card shall we children? 680 SLI... according to the website below. http://vr-zone.com/articles/nvidia-geforce-gtx-680-sli-performance-preview/15273.html
