I'm currently working on a Lian-li v1100, the "untouchable" modding case .

Well, I'm working all the morning at these:

1º: The 12cm fan that will give air to the HD, do you know where they will fit?



2º: I start working on the acrylic panels, sanded them, and drilled:



3º: finnally thats how it looks:

Hi!, not a really update, only a few new photos about the 12cm new fan

Today I will buy a few aluminum and make the HD rack and something more

Well, im working all the evening in the HD rack, I bought too a mesh, and I fitted the alu that divides in two the case again and well... thats the photos

Lets start with the mesh:

I`ve got a raptor from my 1º PC and test how the rack works (remember that I have to do the upper part of it), seems that all fits good.

The cables will fit in the HD by the frontal side

Yesterday I was at local store gettin some modding fun:



Its aluminum, mesh, allen screws, and other stuff:




Well, now its time to work with the alu, first of all I protect it:




After making the drivebay cover with alu (no photos ) I started bulding the upper part of the HD rack:

I mark where to cut and where to bend:



Now cut and blend hehe:


And finnally we drill and screw up the racks

And finnally I want show you the way I would pass the watercool between the two zones of the case. At the imposibility of getting pass-a-way connectors here, I used two racors and a screw to fit it all in once:

That's a slick looking etch on your acryilc. Did you do that yourself or source it out somewhere?

 

Great looking case. A was planing a mod with the same case only with the new lian li case releases I will first check those out.
But good modding, nice way to work "ugly" places away.
Keep up the good work.

 

Looking very nice so far, just one question though: if you're going to put the PSU in the bottom where it belongs, how will you get the power cables through the divider?
