Out of interest, has anyone used their Macbook 13" constantly with the lid shut? I don't have the balls to myself :D

yeah, it's not as bad as some people make out, although it's good to have ventilation all around though as it will heat up.

I've done it with my MBP for a decent while, and no explosions. And my experience is that the MBPs run hotter (thanks to that graphics card).

I do this all the time while watching films (macbook plugged into TV). No problems at all, it doesn't seem to get any hotter than when it's running with the lid open.
