I'm about to put this in, but I wanted to run it by you all here. I'll primarily be using it for photo/video editing with Adobe CS4/CS5.

I'm still a bit unsure on hte case. I want something large enough and with good cooling. I also want it quite.

I'd appreciate any comments you might have. Thanks!

Case: ANTEC Performance One P193 Black Mid-Tower Computer Case

Back up? RAID0 and no back up is asking for trouble. RAID0 off the ICH10 won't be all that great anyway.

Seriously... the F3 is a fast drive. Use one of those 1TB F3s for back up, and buy a copy of Acronis. It will end if tears if you don't.

After all... your RAID0 isn't even your boot drive... why do you need it? I get around 120MB/sec off my F3. Why do you need more off something that's not your boot partition? Especially as you won't get a great deal more from having them in RAID0.

    1) Why i7 920 not 930?
    2) No point with the Deluxe mobo if your not overclocking
    3) Should go for 5850 graphics card
    4) Bizarre HDD setup, get SSD for boot and use F3s for storage

I will likely get an external for backup. Is the chipset known for having problems with Raid 0?

The Raid array is for editing video.

It says it nowhere, but his build suggests that he is not interested in that.

I had the 930 on the build at first. I suppose I could get it.

I may do a bit of overclocking.

I need the nvidia to take advantage of the Mercury Playback Engine when it is released in Adobe CS5.

The drive set-up is specific for a video editing workflow. It is good not to boot from or write to the same drive you work with the video from. And I don't think I want to spend the money on a SSD.

The P6TV2 is enough to be honest.
