Ditto, it feels really big and overwelming on the home page, but on the forums it's just right.

I had contemplated that it's a bit big on the homepage, may play about.

Trouble with that is, we're not a UK site any more, really. We have staff in America, Canada and Australia as well as the UK, and our readership is made up of people from all corners of the globe, with nearly half American. Seems a little odd, then, to pitch ourselves as exclusively British.

There's nothing wrong with flaunting your heritage if your proud of it. Or is there some dark secret of yours that you've kept from us all? :eyebrow: :p :hehe:

I'm Canadian and found the British flag quite nice looking. On the other hand I also like the new one, the front page logo is huge on my res (1600x1200) I can't imagine what it's like on smaller resolutions. However the forums logo at the top left is perfect; how it blends into the blue and grey, as well as the font and size are great. Any chance we'll see a font package? Would go nicely with the WinAMP skin. ;)

Nice job lads, keep up the good work. :thumb:

Still nice to fly the flag though... it did after all start here.

I like the new style, very nice :thumb:

:( Sorry guys, nice design, but ti doesn't fit the colour scheme imo - it's a little too light compared to the rest of the forum scheme (except the grey obviously, it doesn't go with the blue).

Mmmm...I consider myself as "old school" so this is like the 2nd or 3rd layout change i've been subject too. I think it does look swish and I can see why it would be a preferred layout, but I do feel some what connected with the old logo :p

The fact that we were a British site (albeit, not aimed at Brits but it was obviously run and managed by us) made the whole feel of BiT slightly more worthwhile and undeniably patriotic. I'll miss that.

    My only comment is this:
Could the google ads be made to fit the color scheme on the main page. They're a bit distracting when reading through the articles. The white draws too much attention IMO.

I like the overall design of the new logo, but I personally find the shape of the grey bit screws with my head.

Yes, I don't like the text-y bit in the background either.
