    Budget:
    Around £500-£550

    Main uses of intended build:
    Gaming, Ps3 Game Recording etc.

    Parts required:
    Everything

will you be overclocking: yes/no (delete as required)
Yes Once I know how to... :/

    Extra information about desired system:
I definitely want 8gb of RAM and the i5 2500k Processor.
I have taken an interest into the Asus Z68 Mobo's but other advice is welcome.

    Thanks
    Tom

For me I would take a look at the AMD Cpu's when I looked at them they did seem to offer more bang for the buck but a lot of people do prefer to stick to the Intel CPU's

What resolution will you be gaming at?

Also PS3 game recording? I'm guessing you'd need a nice big HDD for the footage!

I can knock out a system for £500 easy, however I'd rather go P67 on the motherboard since you'll be getting a dedicated GPU anyway. Does you budget need to include an operating system?

Well I'm hoping to hook up the pc through my 40" (cant remember exact size) tv...

1tb should be fine for what I'm doing just something that will perform well would be good.
