    Undervolting a fan

    How to undervolt a fan?
yes, i don't know anything about electronics  .
I searched the forum and only thing i could get was undervolting a LED fan. but it didn't talked about undervolting the fan itself.

    Thanks

Put a resistor on it. I could write a guide about it... but it'd be a waste of a lot of time.

Ok. One mutlimeter guide coming up!

Scanners aren't illegal unless you use them for illegal purposes.

    Also, purely, educational, purposes, assure.

A guide for adding another fan? (I'm a complete newb at this stuff, heh)

Do you have to adjust your PSU or something? Mine is at 115 V or something. What type fan do I buy?

    Thanks,
    alacritous

Just buy an ordinary 8cm or 12 cm fan (depending on the mountings for fans in your case) and look whether the fan has a three-pin connection or molex connection (four-pin). You should have spare ones of each, so just plug it straight in, and you don't need to adjust your psu at all. :thumb:

Id like to see a mod about how to shorten psu wires and neat unique ideas on mods for a psu. If anyone has seen things like this, please send me some links.

edit: if you've been talking about a laptop lcd, then the comments in this post are completely relevant, but if not, here you go:

detach tft monitor from stand, use mounting screws provided with tft to attach it to case, connect vga plug to graphics card, fin.
