thanks, but Nexxo's Metaversa holds the record for project-log endurance, I am not even close. I should be back to work next weekend. I just received a large 20"x20" sheet of red acrylic from CuttingEdge which I will put to good use soon..

It'll be interesting to see how that bottle cap gets incorporated into the mod. :p

    Great work you're doing.

Was just goign to ask about that....

I do see a somewhat shorter bolt... that for the window?

In sheer duration, Metaversa wins, but I think you outstrip it in posts by a good number, last I checked. Indeed, almost 600 more posts!

I was just playing with the new hot shoe flash I purchased for my camera. It lets you shoot direct or (bounce) flash shots. A cool toy, and an interesting picture..thats all.. :hehe:

    New Pictures

Over the past few months, I have concentrated on the interior of the case. I decided to clean-up the machine and take some external pictures.

There are still "odds/ends" to complete, but the exterior is close to finished..

Forgot how it all went on the outside! That CD bezel seems to stick out a bit now :/ Can't wait to see that Aquaero all fired up. The top res cover in red from The Cutting Edge is a really nice touch - I'm glad he was able to cut the circle to your needs!

Nice work though. I'd do some pimp shots against a plain white background, though. Really show that sucker off!

    Firehed & mrhanky:
I don't mind the stock Lian Li CD bezel. I could do the "stealth-mod", but it's been done more than a few times, I like to be different. I did think about doing just the door of the Lian Li bezel in red acrylic...Not sure..

    Nexxo:
I like the Tie-Dye backdrop. White is rather plain and also hard to keep clean. Every little speck of dust & dirt shows up, and you never seem to notice until after you shoot the pictures (added Photoshop work). I had a white backdrop a few years ago..and gave up using it. With the Tie-Dye I can stow it in my tripod bag and "forget about it" until it's needed again.

    Top Nurse:
That is a Shark-casebadge in the picture. Came with my last Aqua-Computer order. Don't tell me YOU don't have one??

Oh, dude, that was a burn! He burned you! You got burned!

I've been following this mod for a while, and I've fallen in love with the black tubing. Can I ask where you bought it from? The only black tubing I've found is from AquaComputer, which is thinner than I'd like to use.
