Project: Silence of The Fans **New Pics Mounted IR Reciver**

stupid pics are gone again. i suggest photobucket man, they work a lot better.

 

After alot of thinking I decided to stick to the original plan an make the height of the case 1.5" inches. The only thing is like I said before that cd drive will be loaded from the leftside of the computer but that not a proble we put an eject button in the fron't and the tray will slide out from the side.

I will not be using the logitech Amp heatsinks maybe for another project.

 

I was bored and I had a pice of sheetmetal so I decided to make the bottom plate so I cut a 7.5" x 9.5" pice and I screw some motherboard stanoffs. I decided to go with all lexan case sheet metal just won't work.



I mounted the hardrive ontop on the PCI ports.














dvd drive moounted.

 

I had to modify the 2.5 to 3.5 converter because when I connected the hard drive the power connector hit the ram.

 

I dunno how is it possible to take that sucky-quality pics, but U seem to do that all the time... However project seems to get lowprofile and that's the point

And that magazine looks worth of better look

 

Is that stuff magazine. I think i might have that copy lol.

Yeh the pictures are crappy but it's still good enough to see what you are doing.

Well the background image seems to be in perfect focus for some of them

 

the reason that the quality sucks is that I didn't have money to buy a digital camera so I bought a $30 webcam. I broke my laptop and I bought another one for like $850 so I am broke if you guys don't like the quality please etheir donate a camera or donate some money other wise I will keep posting lowe-quality pictures.

 

im with you redwolf, dont let spoiled kids like jipa with 3000 dollar cameras bring ya down.. im quite impressed with the low-profileness of the computer, i'll keep checkin in to see how its coming along

 

some webcams have manual focus on them - you should also check the minimum distance you can film from

 

I was bored yet again so I did some modding.
sinse mi IR reciver is serial you have a nasty cable but I wanted a clean look so I solder the wire to the motherboard and eliminate the cable.












then I cut the IR reciver.




thats it for now, have to go back to work.

 

looking good so far, might i suggest you find out how to get your camera to focus at close range? the blurry pics are kinda annoying.

 

But the nice magazines used as modding field are very well focussed!!!!

This is probabli the last device that will go in after the dvd drive. I am just waiting for my lexan to arrive so that I can start the case.

I mounted the IR reciver ontop of the parallel port.
and I got some lowprofile ram .

I know you guys hate the magazines but I use them as mousepads or to protect the mobo.

 

Funny thing is you use a different magazine for each set of pictures. You go from catherine bell to daisy fuentes to carmen electra. That and you like to zoom in right where well there boobs are. This is just my watchful eye. HMMMMMM
