nice work also over here. i love that green uv plexi. i first thought of using such color for my v2000b also... but then i got stuck to the blue/white/chrome theme keep on that clean/exact work
Small Update I had plans to install the Innovatek reservoir this weekend, but that is not going to happen. After looking at the 1/4" acrylic I am going to use to mount the res. I came to the conclusion that I will need to use the stock aluminum mounting plate. With the acrylic on top of the reservoir it would be very difficult to remove the reservoir's fill plate so adding/changing H20 would be a major undertaking.. So I started polishing the mounting plate.. Not finished, but getting there (slow process).. I also want to see how the Innovatek LCD would screen from blue/white to green UV. That will work! Until next time....
ill get my sunglasses the glow of the uv green plexi combined with the chrome may blind you ok i'm ready for your next update
A few hours. My problem is the only drill I have is cordless, and I had to stop and recharge the batteries a few times. You can only polish soft metals (aluminum, copper, brass) steel needs to be chrome plated.. Good luck.. I am thinking about polishing the reservoir as well.. we will see..
I did that except in a 3/8" system, still pretty high flow though, and flow rates didn't drop at all as far as I can tell (going by the flow in the res). Different block but still adding in a tiny area to squeeze lots of h2o through. Excellent work as always That polished plate is just
The Aqua-Computer is a very nice GPU block. Honestly thinking about switching and using one in my other project...
I just wanted to post and say I am moving forward on this project... It is not EZ .Working on this mod from a remote location, as well as project BN and my real-world job. The only part I have is the front panel.. The "super-small" power-on/HD LED's will get drilled out for 3mm green leds. The SivlerStone case only draws air for it's 120mm intake fan from the bottom of the case. I am going to add (drill-out) four 9/16" holes on either side of the front panel to draw air from both sides and the bottom. I have all the ingredients for the top mount reservoir. I only need the time to install it............Stay tuned........
Very nice mod! That plexi is so nice, it's gonna look so good under uv Keep up the high standard of work mate!
Progress I just got a Pioneer DVR-108 optical drive for the project.. Let's skin_it.. Pioneer did a good job of affixing there label (I had to sand it off), but the unit is ready for CHROME PLATING.......The Innovatek Reservoir will get installed Saturday...For_Sure..
Big update soon.... Big update later today guys. I am uploading the pictures now (23 of them). The Innovatek reservoir is installed and it came out nice.....Preview
