    Small Update

I had plans to install the Innovatek reservoir this weekend, but that is not going to happen. After looking at the 1/4" acrylic I am going to use to mount the res. I came to the conclusion that I will need to use the stock aluminum mounting plate. With the acrylic on top of the reservoir it would be very difficult to remove the reservoir's fill plate so adding/changing H20 would be a major undertaking.. So I started polishing the mounting plate..

Not finished, but getting there (slow process)..

I also want to see how the Innovatek LCD would screen from blue/white to green UV.

That will work! Until next time....

A few hours. My problem is the only drill I have is cordless, and I had to stop and recharge the batteries a few times. You can only polish soft metals (aluminum, copper, brass) steel needs to be chrome plated.. Good luck.. I am thinking about polishing the reservoir as well.. we will see..

I did that except in a 3/8" system, still pretty high flow though, and flow rates didn't drop at all as far as I can tell (going by the flow in the res). Different block but still adding in a tiny area to squeeze lots of h2o through.

Excellent work as always :) That polished plate is just :eeek:

The Aqua-Computer is a very nice GPU block. Honestly thinking about switching and using one in my other project...

I just wanted to post and say I am moving forward on this project... It is not EZ .Working on this mod from a remote location, as well as project BN and my real-world job. The only part I have is the front panel..

The "super-small" power-on/HD LED's will get drilled out for 3mm green leds. The SivlerStone case only draws air for it's 120mm intake fan from the bottom of the case. I am going to add (drill-out) four 9/16" holes on either side of the front panel to draw air from both sides and the bottom. I have all the ingredients for the top mount reservoir. I only need the time to install it............Stay tuned........
