Ah, I'm a very happy chappy now. If they keep this pace up they might knock out a third installment before we see Diablo III.

 

Sweeeeet. Love Torchlight but the lack of multiplayer was always a bummer.

 

I think is knock off.

Nevertheless I think is great, is like in Diablo, you had only a dungeon, in the two you have forest and elses.

Will there be a TLOD - Torchlight Lord of Destroyer.

I was drawn to this article because i thought it was some news about "Rune" the game. The best multiplayer melee game ever.

I never found the replay value in this....once I'd completed it I never found the urge to play through again. It was pretty much level up one skill, pick a big weapon and just use that for the rest of the game.

I tell you wat. This was an awesome singleolayer game for me to bash while I was on deployment on a navy aircraft carrier, wish it had multiplayer but looks. Like the second installment will solve that. I'm gonna buy this for shure.

This sounds dangerously like a decentralized model where maphacks and dupes will run rampant....

 

I still need to finish the first one >< but I bought it when it was on sale for like $7 and it was great so ya I will get the second one.

 

First game was an absolutely enormous rip-off of Diablo. Even some of the sounds were the same and the music was similar.

That said, it did have an appealing visual style and I enjoyed playing through the game. All though I found it had no reply value, unlike Diablo.

Will probably give this one a miss though. Diablo 3 is on the way already. No need to waste time on a pretty clone.

 

They better not be greedy and ask for more than 20$ like the original game was or else it won't sell at all. The price was the biggest reason why so many people bought the game.

I really enjoyed the first but for some reason I doubt I'll be interested in playing the second one.
