Photos Social/Urban decline

    Thinking of this as a possible POTM entry seeing as though i havn't entered for ages. I was trying to focus on the perceived decay of society in recent times with the hooded youth being targetted as a major concern for many people. Not sure if it worked out or not, i fairly happy with the overall effect though.

    I like it. The graffiti, and the writing on the hoody, really stand out well

    Wow, that's a cracking image. I'd not thought of the theme in that light before, excellent interpretation. Not sure I've got much to say on the image except to praise it, can't fault much. Angle, leading lines, content and composition are all superb.

    Might be my eyes (or the picture) playing tricks on me, but it looks like you've used some dodging on the posters, graffiti, and hoodie slogan to bring them out, maybe a little obviously? The jumper is what I noticed first; there's a slightly unnatural glow to the yellow that almost looks like light-painting.

    you're absolutely correct, i did do some burning on the areas you highlighted :)
