im betting (hoping) the extra tricks are indicative of some type of water-cooling setup.

Hueg! Hardly practical, but what the heck, atleast it looks as the original thing and.. ummh. And... Has taken some serious effort with knife&foam! Damn your house must be full of that lovely foam-trash.

Damn, I appreciate this a lot more now that I've seen (partly) how it's been made. Can't wait for the next instalment!

This is why people like you "No offence or anything" should not win this.

Someone with a big room should, or someone with space to say the least. I have a massive room where my PC is "30ft - 18ft", and it would be ideal here, someone with a small room is just going to rip everything out into a normal case. That just makes all the hardwork from Bit-Tech go to waste.

That's the problem with any art, as soon as it leaves your hands it's also out of your control. But I think most of us here would like to see this go to a good home and hopefully see pics posted in the "Room + Computer" thread.

That's pimp! 50KG and counting - it'll cost a fair amount to ship it.
Now I think I'll enter the competition after seeing this...

I thought this was pretty cool when I entered the contest, way back.

But after seeing the shots, and a glimpse on how it was constructed, the coolness factor just went up by a factor of 10.

Seriously, after seeing this, how can anyone ever settle for a plain "beige" case anymore? If your PC is not a giant Robot, then you simply aren't living!

If the legs come off you would have to let it ride shotgun in your car all the time and see how many strange looks you get.

Or I could have him standing up in my mates 93 Aero perhaps, that would solve the sitting down problem.

Insane. And awesome. And extremely cool, indeed.

But, I think that calling that thing a mod is a stretch. It's not the first time I've though it, seeing some pics of certain mods in this site, but without taking any merit of the awesome job GoTall has done and while recognizing his awesome talent, that thing is a sculpture (only one that happens to house a PC inside).

Still, just a personal opinion...as I said mod or no mod, it's certainly awesome ;)

Absolutely awesome, amazing attention to detail, must have taken forever to get the dimensions spot on like that :hip:

Even if I don't win, I think this whole competition and log has inspired me to create my next PC within a character casing, most definately an excellent talking point

(Also, I know what you mean about those DIY stores, when I was converting our loft space I was in and out of the local hardware like six times a day, got some funny looks :hehe: )
