    I'm so torn on this one. On the one hand it's sad to see one of the last of the old guard leave, on the other hand I can't stand him for his smugness, the damage he's done to the Quake franchise over the years, the lies he's been spreading about his own contribution and the fact that the relative mess that is Quake Champions (under his initial guidance, no less) looks to have put the final nail in the coffin of a new Quake singleplayer game.

    quake series - great until quake4 - which was a bit meh.

    like being the CEO of "insert topical downfallen company here" during its failing period.
