Case Mod - In Progress unnamed project

Hey everyone im Nuffenburger=]
im building a case mod at the moment i found a neat box that i want to use and all the hardware i have fits perfectly inside, i done a rough sketchup file *very rough* and i have pictures aswell so here they are






im going to mount the cd/dvd drive in the lid in the centre
this is my sketchup file

i like the belt feature it has=]
also i need a name for the project as i haven't had time to come up with one that suits the style
the hardware im going to have in it for now *until i can get new stuff* is pretty basic
CPU: Intel Celeron D 3.0ghz
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-8i865GME-775
Memory: 2x512mb Corsair ddr400
Hard Drives: 2x80gb IDE *for now*
Power Supply: 450w Home Brand
Graphics: Nvidia 7300gt 256mb*getting a new one soon =] HIS x1650* free.=]
Optical: DVD/CD Burners x1
all of this including cable management with black wire loom until i can afford flashy UV stuff=] lol

i wish to have my complete* new* system that i bought 3 weeks ago in it sometime soon but not until i feel the time is right.

just a bit of brass which are what those little circle things are
im taking a few out and attaching rods to the end so i can make them into buttons. power, reset, and cd/dvd drive open and close

i redone the 3d model to the exact measurements down to the millimetre, and its startin to come together good. i've added the latches on the front, the corner pieces, and the hinges at the back.
i hope i can upload it tomorro

im 17 im from australia, i have dont a bit of case modding recently *november 06-jan07* it was a sign case i modded im using it to support my good computer at the moment
i hope to put this system into this project

i got everything measured up and i ordered the aluminium square tubing i got a 3d here

i have stepper motors which im thinking of installing so that the lid opens when i press a button, i was thinking of setting them up towards the poles at each end
ill make a 3d of that aswell

p.s nobody seems to look at this? maybe i should produce more=]

 

Hmmmm. Have you ever seen one of those aquarium ornaments that has the diver with the treasure chest that has a air bubbler inside? This would be the sh*t if you could put a soap bubble machine inside that ran when you opened the case. (I know...tacky, but still a cool idea.)

P.S. -The Spring updates are coming in at a furious pace. Don't sweat the slow responses.

Someone did this with a pc one time. I saw it at PDX lan. It was well done, even had doubluns (spelling?) falling out of the case.
