    Seems like a good idea for WD. I'm not sure about Tsinghua, but Micron was probably just seeking to remove competition. At this point the only hard drives worth buying are 320GB or higher - flash memory is catching up in price pretty quickly and SSDs are much more appealing to consumers. Though, I have heard SSDs haven't been holding up all that well in servers.

    About time WD got into the SSD market, I love their HDD's but in all fairness thats old tech now, we want to see SSD's become common place as main storage rather than a top end add on to a computer.
