Enermax T.B.Silence fan review (I mean the whole set, normal, manual, PWM)

Been a while since any fan reviews and these look 'interesting'.

Also, perhaps a nice article on bit-tech especially about readying your PC for BF3 to help combat multiple threads in the HW forum (amusing to me at least, 1/3 of them are from forum regulars).

Could we have a round-up review of mechanical keyboards on the market, and whether they're worth the extra money over standard keyboards for typists and/or gamers? I'm thinking of buying one, but I really don't want to rush out and drop £100 or so on a keyboard until I've read BT's opinion.

+1 to that. I got a mechanical keyboard a few months ago after lots of research, really glad I finally picked up one. Having an article on Bit would have been nice while doing all of that research.

It's also a little overdue as mechanical keyboards have been reviewed here already. The Black Widow Ultimate review touches on the difference of its keys and the Mionix review goes into even more detail but the information is scattered, someone not considering the Mionix would never find useful information which can apply to all mechanical boards.

Further to the P280, could you look to get the anidées AI6 in for comparison?

    http://www.caseking.de/shop/catalog/anidees-AI-6BW-Midi-Tower-black-Window::17856.html

I'd be interesting to see a multi-way shootout between the Antec P280 and Solo II, Fractal R3, Coolermaster Silencio 550 and the AI6. They are all set out to do the same thing and cover a range of prices.

Be even better if you do some testing with all the fans populated with GT's or SE1000's too.

Tbh that's a bit specialist for the usual Bit monitor reviews. Somewhere like TFT Central would be the best place to look at that kind of info.

Would really like to see some Lian Li cases reviewed from their normal mid tower range.

In the past you seem to have only focused on their stupidly expensive special editions.

Yeah. I'm not asking for a special features on photo monitors then video monitors etc just a seperate rating or comment for gaming, photos and video capabilities of each monitor would seriously push bit-tech/cpc above most reviews imho.

Even if the ratings were only from terrible through average to brilliant ( or 1 to 5 stars) it would add more to the reviews. I'm just saying it would be good. more work for the bit-tech/cpc staff but a better review none the less.

I'm not sure it would be worth it, as tech reviews try where possible to be objective, to let the reader decide what suits them best through the presentation of testing. As Bit-Tech are not a specialist monitor site, and thus lack the tools required, it would not be worth testing a whole host of different monitors based on subjective feelings, which of course could be easily swayed by past experiences, or any other host of external factors.

yeah I get what your saying. there is no objective benchmark for monitors apart from a few colour brightness and contrast test. ( and slow-mo lag measurement ) but in a group test It could be possible to line 6 monitors up side by side and form an opinion. I was thinking more for those of us who splash out on cpc magazine.

If all else fails they could at least try and find the money for a slo-mo camera to benchmark lag.

Thermalright HR-02 Macho heatsink. It can cool a moderately overclocked CPU passively and competes with the best self contained water coolers while being quieter.

I was about to come in here and suggest exactly the same thing. Would be nice to get some professional opinions on what's out there for those of us looking to make our first purchase.

There is already plenty of good reviews and information about mechanical keyboards from people who know far more than the BT staff (no offence).

I would like to see more articles about things like SLI with 8x or 16x lanes and the performance differences.

It would also be nice to see some real world speeds in the SSD reviews such as boot time, game load times etc.....

How come case reviews have stopped??, i discovered this web site early last year, i was pleased how good your case reviews were and perhaps even more pleased that every week you seemed to be reviewing another one....

For someone like me who is looking to a fresh build with the new 22nm CPU's and 28nm GPUs it was an absolute must read....yet after november (and oddly just as the P280 was anounced) its all dried up with no new reviews!!?

How about kicking off a fresh year of case reviews with the P280 for starters!!

Also, following your excellent article on cooling, why not review all future cases with a 2xfront and 2x rear fan configuration so there is direct comparison with this 'middle of the road' config.

    Thanks
