POTM [05/08] Willow

Willow tree in my garden that was cut back recently, all the leaves and small branches there have grown in the last month...
Tisnt the best of the ones i took, but i like the swallow

Shot with a D50 and the kit lens with a circ pol. filter


Also i think this is my first entry into bit's potm

what tripod did you use to shoot that with?

 

it poo'd on you, didn't it?

maybe bring the it in to the frame more. make it look like it's flying away.

 

I like it, but I have a thing for silhouettes.
I'm not sure about the use of B&W, what's the colour version like,

 

is the colour shot, theres something about the lack of detail in the tree trunk which i didnt like, hence the switch to b&w
