POTM [06/07] The Rigging

This is one of the photos from my thread over in the general area. These are three of the rigging lines on the tall ship The Elissa, located in Galveston, Texas. There are countless lines running all over the ship, and each one has a very specific purpose. Shipmates were required to memorize each line because they had to be prepared to help out anywhere on deck at a moment's notice. Trying to figure out where all the lines ran was quite dizzying.



Basic processing includes:
1. Cropped
2. Channel Mixer to convert to black and white
3. Slight levels adjustment
4. Sized for internet
5. Sharpened
