I'm actually quite interested in playing this, but I won't go out of my way to get it. Looks fun.

As always, I'll wait a bit before getting overly excited.

Of course, this being Activision, Spider-Man: Edge of Time 2, Spider-Man: Edge of Time 3 and Spider-Man: Edge of Time 4 are already being worked on and will be released at two monthly intervals. Then, this time next year, after disappointing sales of Spider-Man: Edge of Time 7 (Dangling From the Edge of Time), Activision will cancel the series, citing over-saturation of the market thanks to EA's competing franchise, ManSpider: Rim of the Clock.

    You forgot the piracy...

I am not impressed by the clip. One thing I learned from clips is: If the teaser is bad, you can expect the game/movie to be much worse!

All I want from a superhero game is a free roaming sandbox in which you can mess around with superpowers! Give me Just Cause 2 with superpowers and a co-op mode and I'll be happy. Don't try to create an elaborate story or anything. Just a fun game!

More curious as to why this made a headline in Bit-tech....

Honestly? Partly because I quite like Marvel Comics and partly because I needed to test our new video partner.

Should it be auto-playing with sound? On both Firefox4 and IE8 the video loads and plays straight away.

    A game actually with a storyline I can follow - shocker :)

Of coure I will wait to read reviews before I buy it, Batman Arkam really showed how a hero game should be made, so lets hope this one ticks all the boxes for fans and gamers.

    I don't think I've ever played a spider-man game that I've actually liked/enjoyed

Spiderman 3 (i think) was pretty good, in a "Webbing around the city is fun" kind of way. But I've yet to play a spiderman game that can get the wallcrawling e.t.c right indoors (they just need to mimic the alien gameplay from the first AvP imo).

Also, Phifty Cal, Try City of Heroes :p It's almost exactly that (well, it does have a story, a pretty damn good one, but it can easily be ignored)
