My Mate is after a Laptop between £300- £400

His main use will be internet and a good sized hard drive would be ideal for him storing his work on

    I suggested these 3 below.

Any other suggestions would be great or advice on which of the 3 he would be best getting

    Thanks :)

dell xps 1530 seems a good buy, you should be able to bargain 50+quid off it and get a longer warranty so puts it in the 300-400 ballpark

I think Denis_iii's suggestion is great. I've had my XPS 1530 for about 9 months so far and it runs like a champ. I even had it folding@home 24/7 (with good ventilation) in between trips out. Daughter is borrowing it for a while, but I'll set it up as my second desk PC and for folding again on return.
