4K on a 27in screen is just too damn small, end of story.

    Go 32in or go home.

This is my personal feelings also, using 200% boost to make the text legible defeats the point of buying a 4k screen.

Still also feel 60hz for gaming even at 4k is a drawback

Using a 32 inch 4K right now, I have to concur. 27 would be crazy fine considering how uncoordinated scaling is across Win32 apps.

I found 4K @ 27" alright personally... But that's more likely for the same reasons I found 1080 @ 27" too low - I have to sit quite close to my monitor.

1440p really does seem to be the sweet spot in terms of usability, in hardware requirements as well as ergonomically, but it seems like most manufactures are either skipping it entirely for 4K, or realising there's not many options and charging excessive amounts for it.

1440p high hz screen + gsync and ips is above £700.
