Will those dropping resistor things you sell to slow down fans work to dim down the LEDs in the fans too?
Slower quieter fans and dimmer LEDs.

    I forgot - looking good

If the resistors are plugged into the molex connectors then yes the leds will dim as well as slowing down the fans.

I made my own fan controllers using resistors with two settings, normal and half speed.
the resistors drop the led brightness as well as the fan speed.

That just put an image of the vents in Alien3 in my head (it actually is a decent film ;) )

Again Bill, as always, it looks stunning so far. Maybe if I win the lotto here in Ireland, I'll get you guys to help me build a monster some day :D

Terrific work! You've obviously got talent and a love for what you're doing.

My personal opinion is that the fans are too open, too exposed. They seem more like they're stuck in the middle of the bio-mechanical themed surround rather than incorporated into it. Adding a rib cage or carcass in front of the fans might help integrate them in, or perhaps dress up the corners of the fan inlets so they don't look so much like rooftop cooling units.

I can't wait for you next update.

Thanks for the great feedback! The bezel isn't finished I need to order the 3mm white leds, so I can get those sorted too this week.

I can't wait to see those white LEDs installed.

Yeah what do you have in store for the feat? You could always use your Billet case handles but use them as feet.

You guys reminded me I need to remove and throw those away, (oops did I say that)

I dont know yet, something that fits the theme

Need_for_Speed found this photo and sent it to me. It's the interior of a Turtle shell. It would be really cool to implement something like this somewhere into the build.
