    Yipee!

I've often enjoyed the pleasure of reading some of Dennis's other publications, so this should be good :thumb:

Not too sure on a printed publication though... I would buy it, especially if it came with free thumbscrews... but I suppose Tech is best kept on computers?

Hm, love Custom PC as a magazine, but the quality of your site, reviews and articles is definitely superior :)

Good luck for the future, hope it matches the past success!

Why does this headline give me the feeling that Bit was lost in a game of poker? :worried:

    Congratulations guys :D

so g'wan then, how much did they pay? ;)

And did you have to give them Hiren's soul as surety?

Bigger is not better. Every time you "broaden the appeal of the site" it attracts another hoard of morons and lowers the average intelligence of the userbase. I think this will be good for bit, but bad for those of us who come here to find a higher grade of people than is the average on the web.

That said, Custom PC is a good magazine, so hopefully it won't be as bad as I'm afraid it's going to be.

I do put them straight on the facts on occasion. :p Recently I sent them a long letter on various misconceptions about Fluorinert (in their Armari XPC immersion cooling PC).

I'm hoping we can keep the average intellect high while also expanding the site. That'll be dictated by the content and we plan to keep that the same.

Interesting news, I hope this doesn't change bit-tech too much. I liked that it was a bit of an independent, a little more identifiable, a little more personal and different from all the other mass crap, and the reviews here are much better. The acquisition by Dennis is a logical step; CPC magazine is one of the better enthusiast magazines (despite the fact they never gave me my work experience damn you!). However, gotta say that the fanboys over at macuser are prone to being totally Steve Jobs obsessive and lick the ground he walks on. Aside from that, cool! Let's see Bittech go new places!

So who got a massive payout then? :D

Great work guys, I hope happy times are ahead - despite the current financial situation.

Interesting news. I am a subscriber to CPC, it gets shipped out to me here in sunny NZ. In fact on my FF bookmarks toolbar they sit next to each other...bit-tech and CPC websites!
