Open Source Exchange 2003 / 2010 recovery EDB to PST

Hi,
Can anyone recommend a free utility that can convert Exchange 2003/2010 EDB to a PST? I need to recover a users mailbox and export it to a pst.

Is the EDB ok? If it has errors you will need to run the built in exchange utility to fix it.

After its fixed you should be able to mount it and use exmerge to pull the required data out into a PST.

Though be warned Ive found exmerge has issues with mailboxes bigger than 2GB, so you may have to do it in parts.

 

For 2003 you can use exmerge for mailboxes under 2GB
For 2007 & above you can use Shell to export but takes a bit of work.

How much recovery is needed? Is it corrupt or has it been deleted?
