Have you seen the prices of this game?

    Digital Edition - £49.99
    Digital Deluxe Edition - £64.99
    Collector's Edition - No Price

It's a bit high for the digital edition, ok there's no subscription but still.

    What you guys think?

I think retail will be more like £35-40. Similar thing with diablo 3, the digital editions from blizzard high prices but retail more reasonable.

Every game is around that price now.

SWToR was alittle more, games are no longer £20-30.

I don't think it's unreasonable to ask for £49.99, prices have steadily been going up for a while now.

I got two copies this morning, money well spent for me since I know I'll enjoy the game.

I think it's very reasonable to be honest. SWTOR is £45 digital version and that does have subs. For a fully fledged MMO with no subscription fees, £50 is extremely cheap.

I dunno, I got BF3 for about £30 on release, I got Anno 2070 Collectors edition for £20, Brink was about £25, and Borderlands 2 is available for pre order at around £26

I am not pre ordering as I don't have the money to spend. Plus I don't know how much time I can devote to the game. I played GW for many months pre BF3 as I i was/still am unemployed. I can still link my account etc

But am going to wait. A friend of mine has resisted buying super deluxe edition as he is trying to save money. Plus he's more under the thumb too.....Though he doesnt splash the cash on hardware.

Copy for the wife and I today. My new system was built almost just for this game. Now I need to hurry up and finish modding so I can play when it fully releases. Still, beta events cheesecake.

Hmm, might wait a few months till the prices come down a little, might avoid a lot of bugs in the process too...

Won't pre Order till the micro transaction system they intend to use is confirmed

If you can buy your way to top ( aka star trek online ) I won't be playing it, I may be able to pay for the top end stuff but the people I play with some couldnt

Also question of why I'm playing the game if you can just buy the best stuff.

They have said cosmetic only but star trek said that, soon enough multi vector assault mode was made a cash shop item ( best escort ingame) or you could farm 3 months, £15 or 3 months hmm not a difficult choice.

Let's hope more about microtransactions is released pre launch

£50 is a lot, putting off a lot of people who have to buy 2 copy's ( wife and him) as its a £100 before they even start.
    Bf3 was only £30

The hours playtime involved though - I think 50 squids is reasonable for a non sub long term MMORPG.

Everyone has the same stats at max level so you can't buy your way to the top. It's a game for fun, not epeening your epixx stat gear. :D

You can already see the stuff that's in the store, nothing gives an "advantage" unless you call 50% extra exp on mobs that only give you 20exp an advantage. :p

I'm wondering if (accounting for guilds choices of course) we can all manage to jump on the same server?

also assuming a certain lady can keep it clean when I'm trying concentrate on a quest :p
