    From what I've learned about John he most likely has it with him. Just not in his pockets, more likely in the front of his pants...

    I just grossed myself out. :eyebrow: :D

    Just go ahead. I'm sure he's somehow responsible for that volcano in Iceland too :hehe:

    Sorry, Cheaps... but you know it's your fault anyway, right?

    @B_C: I blame Cheaps? :p

    :blush:Thanks!
    @Cerberus - The clean-up work is bad enough without having to re-surface. I doubt it would make enough of a difference to merit all the extra work.
    @Kayin - TOO cryptic.:hehe:
    @The 'Blame Cheaps' Cult - Go ahead an blame me for the volcano, but leave John's reputation alone! People will start thinking he's 'troll-sexual' or something. (You Can't blame me for all the rumors you start.:p)

    <OFF TOPIC>I would have to note that making the shape that achron suggested may not help as much as would be hoped.
    The fastest moving and thus most disturbed air will be coming from the edges of the fan where the plexi fins are still close. I would suggest stepping the cutout rather than rounding it. It may not look as pretty but it might make a difference, no guarantees.
    Also, if you are planning to make the leading edge (close to the fan) sharp and knife-like I would suggest gently rounding it instead. This will cause less air disturbance.

    On another note, I was dissapointed to see that this is not a completed worklog. I am in the habit of lurking these forums feasting on completed masterpieces so it becomes annoying to have to bookmark it and resist checking every day.
    Is it too soon to demand an update? It has been four whole days since your last one. :D</OFF TOPIC>

    <ON TOPIC> Trolls and perversion and such </ON TOPIC>

    Why is it that your worklogs contain the most humerous posts? Well done I say.

    I'd say we can blame Cheaps for that as well. ;)
    And I remember we were told off for trolling Langer's thread not too long ago. In here it's total mayhem and everyone's happy. :D

    @Ampersand - :D Thanks! What you said makes sense, and I guess every little bit helps. On the down side- more surface area = more sanding.:(
    -As for the humor part- I guess I draw trolls to me like flies on...wait...:worried:

    :lol:
    Also- I have milled out 9 of 11 pucks that will form the res core. It's time consuming, but hardly pic/update worthy.

    The shape I suggested was biased more towards aesthetics, not performance. Ideally, you would want no fins and a scoop to make the air coming in laminar...but alas, that never looks as good. Plus, the design I posted just looks pretty :clap:.

    Yeh to hell with performance, it's gotta look good. What lifts the soul more, a couple of
    degrees cooler or an eye full of goodness? ;)
