22.2gb - Stalker Chernobyl L4D2 Zombie Driver Demo Half-life deathmatch Half life lost coast Zero Gear demo Team Fortress 2 (some preload bull that i'm about to uninstall)
I'm not at home so cant tell the size, but I have 92 steam games installed over 5 years, I think I have about 30 installed at the moment.
I'm thinking another couple of F3's might be a good investment about now, over half filled my first already Decided not to put much else on this one as I'm pretty sure I know what's gonna happen next time Steam have a major sale
264GB here, with everything (apart from the new AVP) installed that I own. The sad thing is quite a few games I've installed I've just installed for the sake of it.
Mines also 78, with 14 games to be fully installed, lol (though mines with 20 games and 1 demo installed).
I must admit to never considering that option as a possibility... Despite this, the initial question presupposes that any one reading this thread has an account, and therefore a folder. Most of my games are simply installed because we have free internet atm, and what else is a 1Tb hdd for?
I have no idea because my rig is at home at the moment, and I am not, but I do know that at the moment it's less than 50GB. I prefer to install only my few most played games than install everything I have on Steam and waste hard drive space. When working with a smaller but faster system disk, this is the more sensible option, although I could technically install all my games on one of the 1TB firewire externals. But again that's wasting space that I need for other things. I install stuff as I want to play it. Until then, I keep the storage space for other things.
Before my computer crashed, it literally just had CS on there, HL2, and Portal - and HL Source developers Kit stuff. However now that I am here, I am feeling inspired and may re-install everything, and add all sorts of other games
Just reinstalled Windows 7 last night. Tried to restore the games from the Steam back-up utility (8 DVD sized folders on 2nd HD) which took forever (started at 7pm and was still running at 2:30 a.m.) and crashed just before the status bar reached the end. Now trying to copy the steamapp folder from my old steam install which is running at about 59Gb with about a third to half of the games on the list. estimated time to completion is an hour.... I don't fancy re-downloading all those again.
