   The Vive would be a very poor choice today. More expensive (even without the extra hunnerd spuds for the pro audio strap), using the now-obsolete v.1 lighthouses and sensors (meaning you cannot use them with the new 2.0 lighthouses), and with a lower visual quality than other HMDs. Plus you're stuck dealing with HTC for warranty issues.
