    With two independant controllers on the board it will be interesting to see how it presents itself to the system, presumable as two discrete NVMe devices using bifurcation. Easy to handle with chipset PCIe RAID as on current system with actually discrete devices, but if it were attached to CPU lanes* it would probably need VROC (or the Not VROC Honest Guv added for the 3xx series) to work.

    * Though that's a "why would you do that?!" for current CPUs, performance is not bottlenecked by the DMI link until you get to extremely esoteric SSD arrays in which case you should probably not be using a consumer desktop CPU in the first place.
