Something from the Dell Latitude range. Looks ok and the docking stations are idiot proof.

Dell XPS M 1330. Love mine to bits. Looks the dogs nads, its quick, light, screen's awsome and battery lasts for a good 6+hours surfing/typing etc.

    Try the Rock pegasus 670

Screen resolution and graphics card is much better. But the dell at the same price range offers more ram better processor and twice the hard disk space.

    It depends what you want.

Also rock come with 3 year warranty not 1 like dell.

Rock also provide zero dead pixel guarantee for 30 pounds.

Saying that the dell is probably lighter and battery life should last longer.

    Decisions decisions!

    I'd suggest a Dell Vostro with the 9-cell battery (85WHr). Dell 1400 w/14.4" TrueLife 1280x800 screen, NVidia 8400 GS, Vista Business, 2 x 1GB 667 DDR2, 160GB 5400rpm HDD, 8xDVD+-R/W for £424 ex vat and delivery.
