Agree - glad that mine has'nt a window as looks like someone has poured a pan of spaghetti in there.

The m/board looks so much better that way around, why they had'nt done it that way before i don't know.

    Thanks Mankz_91 and malccy :D

You are right malccy, I cannot understand why they hadn't done a white mobo before that.

I love everything about it apart from the flames also tbh - but can't all like the same things else we'd all be just buying zorro cases or similar and there'd be no such thing as modding.

Thanks you all for your opinions, I really enjoy reading it. Like malccy says, the flames are only matter of taste, if you like it you will love them, but If you hate them they will look horrorful for you.

arbeiter: yeah you are right :wallbash:

    Thanks all my friends :)

HI! I were working two days in the door supports (the black ones up and down it) I sanded, pinted and varnished them and applyed foam at the down one because it got a hole for the USB and mic frontal inputs. I bought too a thermalright for the chipset and installed it

yeh the top fans seem stupid, sucking air in, from the top, and over the radiator, even though you will suck warmer air from the pc through, it will cool the whole PC better, and probably make like 1 degrees difference (you probably wouldnt need any other fans in the case if the holes were covered

    Hi friends!

barbz: I didnt used speciall compound, only metal polish :). Thanks

    muon: Thanks :)

About the top fans, Ive got an extensive explanation for it, I hope I could make it @ english without loosing meaning.

The v1100 is maybe the lian-li with worst air flow of all the market.

It has a fan introducing air at the down part, and other extracting at the middle part.

With a separation in the middle (you know, that aluminum that divides the case on two) the possibility of gettin fresh air around the mobo is very very ridiculous, so there is no air flow at the mobo.

The things go wrong when you talk about the video card. A friend with a v1100 get his 7900gt burned in two weeks of using a v1100. There is NO air flow through the GPU. Its easy to explain why, all the air is extracted by the middle fan, so only hot air gets thru the vid card.

Well, then you have the possibility of installing two fans at the top like I done. But If you put them extracting air, all the air that will pass through the GPU will cool only the lower part of it (where is not the core or the memory)... so you are wasting your air flow.

So with 0% of air introduced I want to resolve it by placing the two fans at the top doing it. So all the fresh air (note that introducing air at the top doesnt mean that the air is warm... if there is 2ºC of difference between the air at the ground and the air at the top of the case you can call yourself lucker, but i said no) goes into the case throught my 7900 gt, cool my chipset and pass through the mobo being extracted by middle fan, so i get an air flow through the case, EXACTLY what i need.

    Regards

Yeah I get the exact same problem with my V2000 but since teh X1800 extracts air it's not that bad, I'm probably going to go watercooling soon, I'm not sure where I will put the rad though (so much space)...

Also this is some fantastic work, great inspiration I can't wait to get modding my self :)
