hi, What you you recommend for a computer thats mainly going to do Graphic design work, i.e photoshop 7, premire 6, freehand mx, 3d Studio Max, flash mx, illustractor 10 and dreamweaver etc? I'm was thinking about dual monitors, i.e 17" tfts, but my geforce 4 ti only has one output, and would this be enough? Or do i need a better gfx card? Help! Cheers.. .: 6262 :.
Really, i thought all GF4Ti's have 2 outputs? or do you meen that it only had one analogue out? Does it have a white(normally) connection onb the back too? if sd that s a digital output and you can buy a converter to attach a normal analogue screen to it.
It used to be the case that a tft just wouldn't cut it for graphics work since the colours were no way near as good as a decent crt. but they are getting a lot better apparently. I would still recommend a crt but thats just me!! Ive got a 21" sony trinitron multiscan and I can honestly say it is the nicest monitor ive used. (my family monitor is a mitsubishi diamond pro which is also lovely)
it only has 1 output and thats it. Gainward Geforce 4 ti4200 64mb. Don't have the room. i have a box room for my bedroom. Hence me thinking tfts.
