News No Man's Sky celebrates 5th birthday with 17th free expansion

Sean and his team have created a beautiful game. It’s quite daunting how big it is - but it’s also a masterpiece.

 

Kudos to the team for persevering through the bad launch and continuously updating the game to get it to such a great level.
NMS is easily one of my most played games lately, I'm constantly jumping back into it - it's one of the few games I've been happy to repurchase on different platforms to show support the developers.

The music they used for this video opens with “This negative energy just makes me stronger. We will not retreat, this band is unstoppable!”
The song is Retreat! Retreat! the second single (from 2004) by 65daysofstatic who also did the soundtrack to No Man’s Sky! The lyrics just work so perfectly and I can’t stop thinking about it!
