I've got one of those, but it doesn't have the original Memotech innards: it's home to a 32KB ZXpand module with 64MB RSMMC storage. Lovely little thing. I even printed a replacement label on silver card... Not sure if I've got a picture of that somewhere.

    EDIT:

Not a decent picture, sadly, but I can't be bothered digging it out so here's the best I've got:

    Bonus: me playing Mazogs.

Now, back to your regularly scheduled programming...

3.5GB + 500MB = 4GB. Regardless of the speed of the last 500MB, it's still a 4GB card. Does it affect performance, maybe. It does seem to suffer from some frame time variance from what I've seen. Could this be solved by drivers? Who knows.

Either way, whether you believe it has performance issues or not due to its memory design it is still a 4GB card.

All I could think about when I saw that was Repton for the bbc micro and how much fun it was to use the editor to make a boulder fall on an unsuspecting mates head as soon as they tried to play the level :D

I think that's the game I always remember playing on my bbc. You have to dig up paths from the enemies to the boulders then release them and dig under the boulder to crush them? Also remember playing Tarzan a lot, but never got that far cause it was hard as nails.
