    The 390 is going to be an 8GB Hawaii aka rebranded r9 290x. AMDs Titan/980ti equivalent based of the Fiji core is going to be called Fury.

    We're expecting the low-mid 300 series to be rebrands, but not the top end.

    Mid June at earliest is only rumours I've heard. With the r390x been pre watercooled it won't be cheap. Probably Titan x level if it beats it in performance. R390 is Ment to be a rebrand of the 290x with slightly better power consumption.

    I think you meant to say 390x (aka Radeon Fury) as it's rumoured everything under that are going to re-brands.

    No it was me that missed an x. The 390x will be an 8GB 290x and so on and so forth. The real new top end will be called Fury(a name apparently brought back from the old ATI days).     So the top end AMD will not be a 390 or 390x but... something else.

    What 391? 391.5x?

    395 would suggest dual GPU so it won't be that either - are they throwing out the nomenclature for the top end and mirroring Nvidia?

    What part of "new top end will be called Fury" don't you understand? You know how Nvidia has Titan? Replace Nvidia Geforce Titant with AMD Radeon Fury.

    So back on track, we're looking at a dual GPU release soon from AMD to compete more with the Titan X than the 980 ti right?

    Well at the moment I am going to hold fire I am using x2 780ti I normal upgrade to the fastest gpus each generation but I have a feel that in 12 month we will have much faster cards both from AMD and Nvidia because of HBM and build a new system around.

    980ti is a fast card but if I was going to buy wait for AMD to see what they have to offer

    shame its not the fastest `graphics card` you can buy right now - that crown still belongs to AMD with the 295X ;)

    I've just ordered a EVGA 980Ti SC to replace my 780, was hoping to hold on for Pascal, but my 780 wasn't cutting it at 1440p.

    Great value, should keep me happy for 12 months until Pascal is available.
