PCI and PCI-E compatability

    I was wondering if it's possible to use f.ex. a Sound Blaster PCI card on a mainboard that only has PCI-E connectors?

    Or would I have to buy new cards for that?

    Er...in short no, you'd have to buy new cards, when they eventually become available.

    Like the guy above said no you can't.
    Buy to add more
    I have yet to see a MoBo with PCI-E that did not still have at least 1 PCI slot still on it

    Well all is not lost. Like woodshop said, all of the 'current' (when they're ever available) Nf4 and Intel chipset boards that I've seen have at least one standard PCI slot
