hey guys i know this sounds crazy but i plan on doing a pc mod that as far as i know has never been done. Like alot of people i grew up with power rangers and i managed to get a hold of a pyramids from power rangers zeo and its just big enough to put a board and hard drive in. the toy im going to use is http://collectiondx.com/toy_review/deluxe_pyramidas_carrier_zord this site has a full review with pictures from every angle. as you can see the toy is hollow. the issues im having right now is i dont want to over mod and i dont want to under mod it either. I plan on paint and LED's but i dont know what else to do to it. anyone have any ideas?

Go original and get Titanus, that'd be cool but obviously less space, good luck!

Im thinking if i decided to water cool it i could build the reservoirs into the arms maybe? but im not sure if that would be overkill on an HTPC

That's actually a pretty cool design already, Looking forward to seeing what you do with this.

And +1 for sticking the reservoirs in the arms :)

actually, ive decided that water cooling would be way overkill so in the left arm im going to mount the ssd drive not sure about the right arm yet.

Pico-PSUs come in up to 150w with a power brick, which would be perfect for this application.

I actually think it might, if you go for low-power hard drives and no video card.

I was never a fan of power rangers, but this is still a cool idea. Wonder what toys from my childhood I could mod ?

yeah lol sorry about lack of posts but work has been crazy. still in the planning stages sadly this is not a mod i can really plan in sketchup so im having to scribble on a printed page with 360 views of the toy. so far the biggest hurdle iv yet to decide on is whether to paint it or just polish the original color back? any ideas
