The case weight a total of 140 lbs. :eeek: With the fans runing at half power, I'm getting 32 C , I'm happy with that temp.

    Thanks for watching....

dammed i didn't know that it is that huge
you shoud definetly made a cutom plexi case for the stuff that sits now on the top of your case. It look a bit wired with that stuff on your beautiful case
but i cant say it often enough: :jawdrop: :jawdrop: :jawdrop: :jawdrop:

    Final thoughts:

First, thanks to all of you that had follow this log and comment on it. After some tweaking, I was able to run 11 HDs and 3 DVD drives. I felt short of my twelve HDs goal, because I had burned a HD on my previous case. I feel at this moment that, this project is a failure. I couldn't use the ASUS MOBO and I didn't have anymore money left to invest in this project. My present MOBO was having raid problems before and now is more unstable with the extra load of HDs. I'm really frustrated and not happy with this case, soon it will be turned into scrap and parts for my new build. The only thing that performed better, than I expected was the WC. After some tweaking of the fans, I got to drop the CPU temp to 30C at 100% of CPU usage for a couple of hours. And with the A/C on in my house the temps drop to the lows 70F, I'm happy with those results.

well this should be the end of this worklog...... RIP

See you guys at my next log... Project: HURRIKANE-FL... CrazyModder.. out..

This is certainly no failure... At worst you can just think of It as some great modding experiance. Me personally, I think it looks fantastic.

I'm sad to hear you'll scrap it...but I can understand your motives. It's never nice to be confronted with hardware issues that limit one's imagination and a very nice mod.

I'm been keeping an eye in this forum for a while now, while looking for some fans on the net for my new project I came across something funny.

    Check this out:

I did this mod here on 16/07/2006.

and months later you get this:

I was the first to come out with this idea, and now they sell this and some members call mine a copy, you got to be kidding me. I'm a little confuse, about it.

Well I started cannibalizing the big case, now I'm going in the opposite direction x-small, that is gonna be my next project.

    CrazyModder....out.

Wow dude. That case is really effing sweet. I looked it over a few months back and thought it was ok but now seeing the final project it really is something. Nice work. I applaud the effort.
