'Specially if they're of the nipple variety!

You'll need them if they're of the nipple variety!

--wait :eyebrow: I keep doing that!

Coming along awesome, Kyle. I'm curious to see what you've baked cooked up with the Pi. :thumb:

    ....

You worry me, the nipple variety although they may be "useful" in other situations, I cannot see a use for them on this case, so I will stick to the normal G- and Quick-Clamps!

I however, am about to go on holiday! I have a 4am drive to the airport to look forward to so I am going to bed instead of editing images... I may get around to it at some point this week but do not count on it! Oh, but the case now has all 4 panels and the internal sheets of aluminium are now done!

As for the Pi, I made a case for it today...

I propose you build an LED control board called 'Cake', and a dial interface called 'Ice Cream'.

    Sometimes I wonder...

Well, another week another problem... The USB port on my card reader fell off, that's right it fell off! So I am going to have to wait a few days to get a new one! RAGE! The case is now black though....

You jammed your plug in too fast, and pulled out too...
You know; I should just quit.

    Indeed you should!

Sorry for the delay in updates but I went off to Lanzarote for a week on a family holiday which was a laugh but it was good to get back!

So I am using magnets for holding on the side panel, cut out a slot in the aluminium angle for the magnet. They were spare from some kitchen cabinets that me and my dad made while we were still in Scotland.

I filled the open end in with filler, have I mentioned how much I love this stuff?

Now quickly glue the other side onto the side panel.

So this is where we are in terms of the actual case! Getting there!

Now back to the fan grills, it is always the details right? Painted and I have added some acrylic between the to grills, which will light along with the rest of the case.

I no longer have any work to do, so I will be finishing this case soon enough :D

Finaly-someone who used magnet latches. I was wondering if those could be used for side panel, but I was afraid taht they could not hold the weight. Thank you very much for doing it.

Keep up the good work. ;)

Really a matter of how many of them you use. I once "fixed" a really warped cabinet door by mounting four of them.

@KVM- I'm reading this stuff in your voice now.
Cabinet magnets: Totally screams, 'Uni student modder.':D I should send you a milk crate 'chair.' One with a US farm logo on the side would really stand out from your dorm mate's furniture.

    Cheers Bill!

The 2 would not hold if I did not have the acrylic there as well guides there as well!

Do it, it can go next to the traffic cone I use as a door stop...

So I have had a few days of iffy weather, so have not managed to get much painting done, and that is almost all I have left to do. However, for some reason I do failed to keep the garage clean anyway... :D

I left the plastic from the acrylic for the window in place while I painted the side panel. So the matt black is now down!

Got the matt black down on the internal panels as well.

And the main case as well!

OOO, more RaspPi! I have started making the box for the Pi, but more on that later!

If this weather holds out I may have another update for you soon!

    Awesome.

I find that hard to believe. I rather like the mental image of a well-dressed British gentleman standing there with a cane and a derby hat holding his hand up when someone tries to drive into a construction area of the roadway saying, "I say... this area of the road is out of commission temporarily for repairs!"

They have to wear their safety derby hat when working with traffic.

    FTFY

Well-dressed - Most of the time...
Cane and derby hat - NEVER!
