Scratch Build – In Progress R-kaid-6 > (UPDATE 07.05.12 Additional wooden gamepad)

Masterfull retro modding the logo looks so right of early arcades & good to see the grill back together .

 

I seem to have missed a couple of updates this thing is flying and looking all the better for it nice work I love it!

Awsome job, I love how the joystick turned out, especially the bottom with all the graphics.

Superb job, glad you went with the walnut finish panel, gives a flowing look to it. Glad the glue broke and not the wood, fan grills are very neat looking.

Great looking and fun build.

 

Right now I´m kinda stuck... The arcade software is not my best friend! But I´ll get there in a couple of days. Photostudio at the end of the week I hope!! ... and then some GAMING!!!

Ok, I´ve been shooting for a couple of days now. I borrowed a really good camera this time.
Two photo sessions coming up; one in the studio and another more conceptual session in the metal workshop.

Thank you mate! You´ll find the comp specs on the first page. Controllers have components from Sanwa(akihabarashop). The boot I use is called Maximus Arcade... That´s it I guess.

I KNOW, ME TOO!! It´s quite the sex beast!... in a strange way.
I think it´s the coiled cables... or the camera... combined with a desperation maybe... or just my weird imagination

I don´t know if you´ve noticed, but I´ve replaced the roof piece again.
Made a new one and got rid of that cable storage. Much better now I think...

Also, here´s the video footage as promised. It´s an 8 min piece of retro gaming(boot up and three different games). The boot up is yet to be perfected. I have to get rid of that XP intro somehow, but I´m onto it. Otherwise, this sex machine works like magic

Yo have mande me want to try out that Maximum Arcade- is it easy to set up as I have separate emulators for genesis/megadrive, NES, MAME etc but would be nice to use just one for all of them? any tips or hints? I have plenty of legal roms and am not asking for anything illegal, honest guv
