Ok, I know close to nothing about DOS, so I am in need of some help writing this simple program I need. Basically all I need to do is create a program which is self booting from a floppy that produces a un-interruptable black screen. Im not bothered how its done as long as you can't get out of it in anyway.

Does anyone have any ideas on how this can be done? I think you can change the font and cursor colours in DOS but I don't know how.

    Cheers,

    /A

Are we a little ticked off at someone?

What are you trying to accomplish?

Its for a kvm switch to black for a projector. The reason I asked for it to be un-changeable is because I am leaving a keyboard connected for windows and I dont want anything pressed on there by accident that could exit the program.

You could just make an image the size of the screen then show that full screen. Sounds fishy to me.

AFAIK, you can't have black on black.
