Sony has patented a new PlayStation 3 emotion detector that should help the console respond to laughter, tears and even boredom.

It would be awesome though. You're playing this game and suddenly you find yourself in a repetitive and boring situation, then suddenly your game saves, closes and starts up an amusing game like *insert amusing game here*
