Doesn't looks like a bad game. I may see if I can grab the Demo first though.

Any news/info on the PC version?

Or is our platform not good enough for this game to be released on?

No PC release that I've heard of, but it is available on everything else.

bit of a picky point here, but you mention force pull frequently, yet it's force grip in the game and manual...

Awesome review, have you tried it on the Wii? That sounded pretty special to start with. :D

I have it for the Wii.

The graphics are a bit weak, PS2 weak, but the gameplay is immensely fun. Annihilating a wave of storm troopers with a flick of the nunchuck never gets old.

Now that's a name I've not heard in a long time. A long time.

Dark Forces II was an awesome game back in the day. I always felt after playing it that one of the things missing from modern SW games are the FMV sequences.

yes, shame this game isn't for PC, but it's available for every other platform you can name, including the iPhone.

thanks for the review, i hope to encourage my friends (one with PS3, the other with Wii) to buy it :p the one on iPhone is pretty good.

Just completed it on the Wii. Not bad at all, and there's always multiplayer mode to go back to.

Oh, there this one cool bit where
nuh uh... spoilers only lead to the Dark Side.

I really wish there was a PC version. I can't believe they went through the trouble of making a PS2, Wii, even DS/PSP (which one was it?) version and not a PC version. Meh.

I'll probably get it and play it some day, like when a 360 is under $100.

I'm a huge fan of the Dark Forces and JK series, my favorite being Jedi Knight. It's nice to see that they at least did a decent job on this. Jedi Outcast had some great moments but overall wasn't too good. Jedi Academy was just... ugh.

No-one commented on the horrificly frustrating and rage enducing targetting system?

"Let me take this strom trooper *picks up barrel* NO *gets hit by rocket and flung to ground* Gah.. *gets up* I need to grab the *grabs tree branch* GAH *gets knocked down* grr *gets up* Fine, I'll just light you up *tergetting locks onto rock as force lightning is unleashed* Godamnit *gets killed*"

    No? No-one's had that?

After playing the PS3 demo I quickly realized that this game wouldn't be all that great. My friend picked up a copy, said he finished it in ~20 hours and then returned it and bought some PSN games (The Last Guy (very fun!)).

Heck I had more fun with Eternal Sonata than Force Unleashed. Seriously.

I sure didn't. Even when I did miss occasionally it was easy to just adapt and just the rock as a weapon instead.

I found it a little annoying but not that bad, it's not too difficult to learn how to do.

One problem I have is throwing things, they never go the direction I'm pushing them.
