I completed my first year of employment since 2003, and I only had half a day off sick, which is unusual for me (December 22nd, only because my boss sent me home). Yeah, that's it. Wonderful.
hmmm lets see now! Good things: - i got a job ^^ YAY! - got rid of my gf that i have ha the last 6½ years - got a better outlook on life and the opportunities i have open for me! Bad things: - lost the job again (darn financial crisis)! but im hope full and im in the process of starting a new education, just need B level math (A level is the highest here where i live!)

Well, the life of a student isn't that bad after all Late night parties and ignoring alarm clocks is something your boss generally doesn't appreciate.
Didn't crash my car. Didn't get a job. Didn't exercise. Ate what I wanted. Discovered Doctor Who. Stopped stealing things. Talked to Steven Gerrard in Trafford Centre and wished England good luck with qualifying, then watched us not qualify Grew my fingernails long, rather than having them bitten to hell as in previous years, they are just a normal length now though. Don't know what's best out of that list, they are all good. Anyway it is negative to look back, I plan on a rocking 2009 though
Top job! I'm still working on that one... and yakyb - gorgeous house! As for me, a few of my highlights; - helping put on and run a free music festival for around 10,000 people - finding new housemates - seeing many of my friends find happiness with new people, or old (so many engagements... ) - being less stressed than last year - not hitting anything, or anyone, or being seen whilst acidentally 180ing my car on a roundabout. Note to self, do not drive when angry... - spending a lot of time with friends this christmas who i don't get to see very often May as well throw in a few lows; - not keeping in contact very much with some very dear friends - spending the year single And hopes for this year; - finding that special someone, or finally getting up the courage to copy HereticXander and actually tell the person i like i like them... - getting a new car around february - running a road trip round europe with some close friends - getting a job after graduating Hope you've all had, and will have, a great year! RwD
Best choices i made in '08: - telling my crazy ex to f&*( off in as many words... for the third time... and then she just said she doesn't want to talk or associate with people as impolite as me anymore... i think this time it worked... - Start working freelance (something i hadn't done in years), and finally settled some long outstanding debt. - moved out of the house belonging to my previous landlord (who, BTW, is a POS) Bad choices i made in 08: - Wiping out and breaking a rib while playing paintball - that sucked. - watching some movies - being too damn busy for anything and trying to make everyone happy, rather than only those that matter. Hopes for 09: -leave this place and work for myself. -pay off all debt (save the car... even though it'd be ideal if i could pay that off as well) -play more guitar, hopefully in a band again -have more time for people who matter, less time for those who don't
Failed university, lost girlfriend of 2 years, moved away from all my mates- 2008 wasn't the best of years...
First mountain biking holiday in Wales. Second mountain biking holiday in Wales. Other than that it has been a bit of a year of endings of good things.
2008 has been kind to me: - Got my bachelor's degree in Computer Science - Started on a master degree in same - Got a part-time job as sysadmin and webapp dev - Didn't lose the gf
