MumboJumbo has announced it will be making a game based on Ricky Gervais' The Office. Oh noes.

 

A game based on selling paper?
well as I work at a paper merchants myself I dont think I will be buying it.
Would be like bus drivers buying that really crap bus driver game.

There's always someone that will buy junk, after all. Of course, I could be absolutely shocked, and they make it half decent...

 

There are so many utterly crap games out there. Really wish someone would start reviewing them in a humorous way, could be amusing.
I saw a Babe game for the PS2 a few weeks back in Game. Perhaps the worst-looking PS2 game (judging from the screenshots on the back of the case) that I've ever, ever seen.

 

Babe?

You mean, that movie with the pig, right?

 

My sister used to have a Babe activity centre game (and dozens of others) on PC until we lost it. It wasn't actually that bad and had a few things that were funny to me and she loved it, printing off babe pictures she made and stuff. Depends on the audience I guess.

So tempted to actually buy it now when I go into town later, just so I can laugh at it more.

 

It will be another naff game using a licence to sell without putting any effort into the design of the game to make it playable or enjoyable.

Big name sells regardless of the cost and effort you put into making the game.

 

It'll probably look like it belongs on the shows website as a flash/java game.

I despise Ricky Gervais and hope this game is a complete flop so not to boost his bank account or his ego.

'Rick Gervais' should be a synonym for 'scrape thyne ears from thy head'. What a complete and utter prat he is.

 

For a second I was thinking maybe I'd try it for a fiver. but then I realized WTF is the gameplay going to be like? What would you even do in a "The Office" game?

So, maybe not then.

 

Ricky Gervais isnt going to be in it, ah well.
If he was I would buy it - there may be a slight chance of having the ability at some point in the game to beat him to death with his own limbs. maybe a mod at the very least

such is life.

 

I like Merchant when he does interviews, but Gervais comedy wise isn't brilliant.
