While coming up with the cad files for the water jet people, I decided for the sake of explanation, I would do a CAD render of the bottom half of the case...

As you can see, there are two 'pods' on either side of the base, each containing a 120.2 chrome HWLabs radiator, and a pair of AC Ryan Kameleon fans. Also, so that this is as tidy as possible, Im going to put the SSD's (or at least thats the plan) in the side bits as well behind the radiators. Also, there are like 12 holes in the side of each thing to take a 3mm LED and holder, to give some 'glow' to the base of the case.

The mid layer (not drawn yet) will house ALL the cabling, so all that is visible will be the 24, PCI-E and one or two Molex cables going into the middle section, or atleast thats the plannn...

So, here is how it should look after a little water jet luuuuuuve.

    No im afraid.

I had to be at home (as I am now :p ) to measure the radiator properly so I can get the CAD file done and sent to the cutters. I'll hopefully have some more progress on tuesday/wednesday depending on the postal strikes.

Its time for another one of those steriotypical Mankz style updates, basically saying, I ain't got squat.

Over the last few weeks Ive been utterly swamped, between UCAS (university admissions), Coursework, homework, broken bones and illness, I've got nothing, apart from some CAD done. But, fret not.

At the end of this school term I will finally have enough money to pay for ALL the laser cutting and milling, meaning I should have THE MOTHER of all custom res's by Christmas, aswell as the general framework done. Also, due to the fact I want to now use this PC at university, its going to revert back to its rev. 1 idea of using a mATX form factor.

If you guys are lucky, I'll post up an orthographic of the project over the next week or so, but dont expect anything major until mid december at the ealiest. :(

    Mankz out.

    A little news...

Cobalt lisence renewed, so cad can continue...
Not much time to mod at the moment, but Im hoping to get the odd couple of bits milled over the next few minutes. No promises though...
