Got my new power supply for my PC. Man, i'm chuffed with my choice. I got an EVGA supernova 750w G2. Rock solid as far as reviews show, and it's a breeze to install with modular cables. My first modular power supply, so yeah.

I think my problems came from that my old Corsair CX600 was only supplying just enough power for my i3 3220 and an overclocked GTX 670. But i'm hoping I get many years of life from this one. It bloody should with a '10 year warranty'.

Had a chat to the landlord today, nothing bad. Just some stuff to make sure everything's okay, he's a pretty good guy. He's actually the mrs' rich uncle, so we get a bit more slack than most tenants. We're also staying in our place for the foreseeable future with little chance of ever being evicted.

He basically offered to pay for a renovation out of his own pocket. New bathroom, kitchen (yay) and extension to said kitchen and living room. He won't charge us any extra rent either.

Basically his wife and kids are horrible, horrible people because she spoils them, so he's trying to take care of us as it were.

I also have a load of interviews lined up for IT positions. Couldn't be happier.

Friend pulled out of the gig last minute, makes it easier to spend my time with her. (although I was the one who bought the ticket.)

Had an awesome conversation with her last night, I never know how keen to be... some girls don't like it, turns out she was way more keen than I expected and its pretty clear I'm nowhere near to friend zone.

It made it easier for us just to be open, it seemed neither of us properly knew if we felt the same about each other or it was just a drunken make out session.

Really looking forward to picking her up later

Knowing that, at the Commonwealth Games, they played '[I would walk] 500 miles' immediately before one of the wheelchair races...

Third date tomorrow and we're getting on like a house on fire.

Kissed her both times and our feelings are crystal clear, we have similar aspirations likes and dislikes so I feel really good about this.

Gathered a load of furniture building materials. This is after spending the whole day helping clear out the garage and other garage related manual labour, and I've now moved on to my own room.

    Feels good man.

Realising that renting a classic VW Camper was the right way to go for Carfest North.
I had considered camping, but heard some people got back to their tents to find their airbeds were now lilos.
The rain got so bad on Friday, I was expecting Russel Crowe to float past!

My new son should be arriving at some point today, judging by Ali's contractions!

Finished day 2 of garage related manual labour. It's now my workshop and my bedroom feels more like a bedroom. So much so there's a project log incoming and that makes me excited again. :D

Ah, Congratulations! He certainly looks very Healthy, gorgeous.

Kids are the grandest thing to happen IMO. I have three daughters, I love them dearly but no more of them XD

I have nothing as awesome at the moment, although some of my favourite bands are releasing new (and quality) albums this month. Alestorm and Eluveitie, good stuff.
