Transport Manager. Generally spend the day getting angry , stressed , swearing a lot , talking to customers who have no idea about transport except they want there goods ... now , and why does it take more than 1 hour to drive 300 miles in a lorry.

    Genuinely like my job :D

After two "Kind Regards," they're lucky if they get a "KR,".
Also after two e-mails I stop saying "Hi Wally," and just cut to the chase.

Makes sense. I guess part of my gig is I get drafted into a client meeting to wax lyrical and sell the dream, but I'm not the one that owns the relationship with the client, so keeping it casual and friendly works best - good cop style. The clients that I keep persistent contact with tend to be colleague-mates (or actual mates) anyway, and internal communication is always informal.

I’m high enough in IT that I can work from home five days but not high enough that I’d get away with doing no work.
